Confined Space Medical Test
It is important that your employees are fit and well in their work but this is particularly important when working in some specific environments such as when working at heights or in confined spaces. Medical assessments are carried out to ensure an individual is fit to work in roles such as Industrial Abseilers, Riggers, Telecommunications Engineers and more.
The confined space medical test involves looking at things such as blood pressure; BMI; pulse; urine; visual fields; audiometric test; cognitive impairment; musculoskeletal.
On completion of the medical, a fitness certificate/letter is issued advising the results. Medical fails are notified verbally on the day. All details of an individual’s medical assessments and the information given within individual questionnaires will be treated in confidence and is fully compliant with the Data Protection Act.
