Christmas Charity Event 2016

Now u Know…. Raised over a £1000 !

Here at Now u Know Training we have been trading now for 12 months and we wanted to do something to mark the occasion: with Christmas just around the corner, what better way to hold an event to thank all of our customers, suppliers, contacts and stakeholders. So, we decided to have a mulled wine and mince pie evening at the Science Centre, Staffordshire University. But it still didn’t seem enough.

So…. With very little time to organise it we added a raffle to the proceedings, with all monies raised going to our two chosen charities: Douglas Macmillan Hospice and Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.

We tirelessly contacted local businesses, our own customers and contacts and anyone else we could think of to request donations to the prizes. The prizes we got for the raffle were fantastic and we were hopeful that we might hit our target of £500 to be shared between the two charities.

The generosity of our business partners, stakeholders, customers, suppliers and friends has been overwhelming because we managed to achieve over £1000: amazing!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported whether it was by donating prizes, taking part in the raffle, attending the mulled wine evening or just spreading the word for us.

We intend to make this an annual event so we can continue to support our two charities, so we hope to see you next year.
