Mobile Plant Training Courses
Fork lift truck accidents are frequently associated with a lack of suitable operator training. To comply with current legislation, employers must ensure that all operators are adequately trained and where necessary, given refresher training.
This course is suitable if you have received no formal instruction or if you have experience in the use of quick hitches and wish to refresh or update your skills.
More often than not, accidents involving forklift trucks are attributed to operator error: having the skills and knowledge of an ITSSAR instructor available in-house is an invaluable asset to larger organisations wishing to streamline their training provisions whilst utilising their existing in-house expertise.
This highly practical course is suitable for people who's job involves the securing and handling if loads using a range of lifting equipment in line with the Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment (LOLER) Regulations 1998
A registered lift truck instructor is required to attend a 3 or 5 day re-registration course every 5 years of passing their original instructors course to maintain the essential skills that this role demands.
