Portable Electrical Appliance (PA) Testing Train The Tester

This in-house course will provide delegates with sufficient knowledge in the principles and use of testing equipment to undertake PA testing on the most common appliances and systems on low, 110 volt and 240 volt equipment.

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1998 specifies that electrical equipment must be maintained in a safe condition; this can be achieved through a Portable Appliance (PA) Testing regime. The course takes the delegates through best practice and guidance stipulated in guidance documents such as INDG236 & HSG107.

Delegates are encouraged to bring their own PA test equipment or are more than welcome to use our demonstration equipment from some of the more common brands in use such as Seaward, Megger, Fluke, Kewtech and alike.
